Alabama quarterback Bryce Young, the reigning Heisman Trophy winner, left the second quarter of the Tide’s game with Arkansas on Saturday with an apparent shoulder injury.
Update: Nick Saban said after the 49-26 victory Young had a sprained shoulder.

The injury apparently happened on a play where Young was tackled and fell out of bounds on his shoulder.

He did not appear to be in pain … until the next play, a pass.
Young grimaced and quickly made his way to the injury tent.

Young spent a good amount of time in the Alabama injury tent as players checked in with their QB and personnel examined him.
He then ran off the field to the locker room, obviously favoring the shoulder.

Young was 7-of-13 for 173 yards with a touchdown and a pick through the first quarter-and-a-half of action against Arkansas.
Redshirt freshman Jalen Milroe replaced the Heisman winner.
Coach Nick Saban said at halftime his QB had a shoulder injury.
"He's got a shoulder injury. I don't know the extent of it…they worked on him inside."

Former Tide QB AJ McCarron offered his “medical” opinion.
They will shoot his shoulder up and he will be able to play through it. He has the best medical staff in the country with Dr. Cain and Best Training staff leader in the Country with Jeff Allen.
