One of the biggest names in college football is making the early jump to the next level.
Alabama quarterback Bryce Young made it official Monday, announcing that he’ll be leaving school early to enter the 2023 NFL draft.
The Heisman Trophy winner as a sophomore, Young put together another stellar campaign in 2022, overcoming an injury to his throwing shoulder and leading the Crimson Tide just shy of another playoff appearance.
In his swan song Saturday, Young tossed five touchdown passes in a blowout win over Kansas State in the Sugar Bowl.
Young is the current favorite to be the No. 1 overall pick in this year’s draft.
