A tackle class that was already plenty top heavy with first round talent has now been blessed with another guy who could potentially be the first offensive lineman off the board as Alabama offensive tackle JC Latham declares for the 2024 NFL draft.
Latham has been one of the top tackles in the country over the last two seasons in one of the better offenses in the country. In his time with the Crimson Tide Latham did not surrender a sack and only gave up three quarterback hits through 21 games. Latham anchored the right side and was also one of the top graded run blockers in his class.

With what is shaping up to be quite the competition to see which tackles goes first off the board, Latham has to be considered among the top prospects. Though he played guard and tackle on the right side, Latham can likely play at any position along the offensive line if needed. Latham has all the tangibles needed to play at the next level with ideal size, excellent play strength, and a solid athletic profile. Expect Latham to go off the board within the top half of the first round.
