Al Pacino has become a dad of four at the age of 83 after girlfriend Noor Alfallah gave birth to a baby boy.
After news broke of the baby's arrival, it was unknown which sex the couple had welcomed to the world, but it has now been confirmed that their first child together is a boy.
And the pair are said to have already decided on the tot's cute new name - Roman Pacino.
Hollywood icon Al and his Kuwaiti-American film producer girlfriend announced last month that they were expecting a child together, with the news shocking the actor's fans.
The Scarface star is already a father to three children with two women.
He shares 22-year-old twins Olivia Pacino and Anton James Pacino with National Lampoon star Beverly D'Angelo, having had Julie Pacino, 33, with Jan Tarrant.
And in a statement to Daily Mail, the gender and name of his latest addition was revealed.
A representative of the couple told the publication: "I am confirming that Al Pacino and Noor Alfallah have welcomed a son, named Roman Pacino."
The couple were spotted on Wednesday seemingly celebrating their new son as they headed for the Sunset Tower hotel in Los Angeles for a fancy dinner.
Noor was seen driving the star to the location and it appeared as though their car had a child seat in the back. It wasn't clear however whether or not baby Roman was with them.
Noor and Al have been an item for just over a year after first getting together in April 2022.
Despite reports he was shocked at the pregnancy news, Al recently labelled the youngster's then-impending arrival as "special".
Back in 2014, the icon spoke about what it’s like being a father and said that having kids has helped with the “missing link” he’s felt since his father left him and his mother when he was a toddler.
“I consciously knew that I didn’t want to be like my dad,” he said.
“I wanted to be there. I have three children. I’m responsible to them. I’m a part of their life. When I’m not, it’s upsetting to me and to them. So that’s part of the gestalt.”
His new girlfriend and now mum to baby number four, Kuwaiti-American film producer Noor, is no stranger to dating much older men, either.
She has previously been linked with the likes of Sir Mick Jagger and Clint Eastwood.
But she admitted in the past that "ages didn't matter to me".
