Comedian Al Murray has hit back at criticism he received for postponing his Nottingham show after he tested positive for coronavirus.
Murray had to reschedule his 'Gig For Victory' show due to take place at the Royal Concert Hall on Friday, March 11, as well as others in his tour.
This is after he tested positive for coronavirus - and the show in Nottingham is now due to take place in May this year.
However, Alex Belfield, who has his own show on YouTube and describes himself as 'The Voice of Reason', claimed he didn't understand the decision.
Mr Belfield tweeted: "I simply don’t get this… Comedian who stands on a stage by himself cancels 2800 seats sold out over a sniffle and cough at worst.
"Probably no symptoms statistically. Showbiz is mental. The Kung Flu is over you dopes - didn’t Boris send you the memo?"
The comedian replied in a tweet: "I'm sick you donut. Haven't got out of bed. Also: eff off."
