Devprayag: SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav took a holy bath in the Ganga at the Sangam here during his tour of Uttarakhand with wife Dimple Yadav and children and got the blessings of Mother Ganga.
According to Dynamite News correspondent, former UP Chief Minister is visiting Badrinath and Kedarnath Dhams to offer prayers to Baba Kedar and Baba Badri Vishal.
The SP Chief, while talking to journalists, said that though the Party is not very strong in Uttarakhand but we are taking steps to strengthen it in the state. However, if SP comes to power, it will encourage the players and provide them the government jobs.
He said, in the undivided UP, the SP government had done unprecedented work in Uttarakhand area, which has not been taken forward till now.
Akhilesh Yadav, speaking about the poster put up outside the SP office in Lucknow regarding his becoming the ‘future Prime Minister’, said that that is the Party workers' thinking. They want to stop the BJP at all costs, he added.
