Lucknow: Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav on Monday slammed the Uttar Pradesh government over two bank robberies in the state, saying the state is now leading in 'ease of doing crime'.

The former Chief Minister of the state took to X (Formerly known as Twitter) to criticise the government over the law and order situation.
"UP has become the number one in ‘ease of doing crime’. Today’s episode is Lucknow’s Overseas Bank (IOB), where valuable things were stolen by breaking open the locker. Yesterday a bank was looted in Saharanpur," Akhilesh Yadav wrote on X.

Lucknow Robbery
In Lucknow robbery, a total of 42 lockers were cut open, and jewellery along with other valuable items were stolen.

Saharanpur Robbery
In another post, Kannauj MP also shared the CCTV footage of the theft in Saharanpur.
The shocking robbery was caught on CCTV camera where four masked men stormed a 'Jan Seva Kendra' with country-made pistol. The armed men threatened the officials with guns and looted around 1.5 lakh cash.
