AJ Odudu put Big Brother fans on high alert on Tuesday night, appearing to let the cat out the bag on her being the show's new host, as she presented the semi final draw for the Eurovision Song Contest.
As soon as it was confirmed that ITV had taken on Big Brother with a view to bringing it back this year, TV star and former Strictly contestant AJ saw her name thrown into the frame to be host, even getting the backing of Big Brother icon and its long standing presenter, Davina McCall, as her own return to the role was ruled out.
A huge Big Brother fan, AJ is also many fans' pick to be presenter and, as she joined another candidate, Rylan Clark, to do the Eurovision semi final draw, AJ made a quip that sent viewers at home into a veritable frenzy.
AJ and Rylan were responsible for revealing the fate of the countries for this year's semis, as the official handover of Eurovision to Liverpool and the draw was broadcast live on BBC Two.
And, as she got ready to draw another country from the owl in front of her, AJ said: "Okay....ooh, do you fancy another one?" While that might have seemed like a completely innocuous question to the casual viewer, Big Brother fans at home instantly recognised it as a catchphrase Davina used when she hosted the show, often when introducing new housemates.
As soon as the words came out of AJ's mouth, they became a big talking point on Twitter, with one fan reacting: "AJ Odudu saying the iconic Davina line “fancy another one” during the allocation draw… that may be a little tease that she is our new host of Big Brother," with a second tweeting: ""Fancy another one" AJ defo got that Big Brother gig"
