Airlines offering discounts in lead up to Christmas - £500 saving with TUI and Ryanair flights from £9.99

Whether you plan on surprising a loved one with a trip this Christmas, or booking your 2023 summer holiday in advance, there's plenty of travel deals to be found in the lead up to the festive period. Including a saving of more than £500 with TUI.

For those who may have missed out on travel deals this November, or couldn't quite find the deal they were looking for during Black Friday, all is not lost as travel companies continue to offer discounts.

Last week during Black Friday shoppers could return tickets to Paris for as little as £8 return with Ryanair, as well as up to 50% off packages with Jet2, but deals leading up to December are still proving to be cheaper than the rest of the year. If you have your eyes on a holiday, return flight or even booking car rental for an upcoming trip, the period between now and Christmas is one of the cheapest.

America TUI deals

Since it originated in the US the deals are more beneficial on trips to the United States, and if booked today extra travel details like accomodation and car rentals are likely to be reduced too. TUI has a range of deals on their site from Manchester Airport, including 2023 Mexico trips and Florida holiday packages.

Florida deals are one of the sites top reductions this week, with the cheapest price for adults starting at £718pp. This price is reduced by £287 per person, and includes 7-night accommodation in self-catering and return flights.

The site has also introduced 'book now with no deposit' deals. This one week stay in Buena Vista, Orlando Florida, and includes a £514.48 total discount.

Ryanair's £9.99 flights

Ryanair launched 15% off during last week's Black Friday sale with deals included on flights to Brussels, Copenhagen, Dublin and Barcelona included.

Travellers could find the deals on the 'Jetset January' section of the retailers site, and now four days after Black Friday there's a host of new destinations from Liverpool John Lennon Airport, that weren't on offer last week.

£9.99 flights to Milan Bergamo (Italy) and Poznan (Poldand) have been added to the deals for under a tenners, as well as flights further affield to Faro, Portugal for £16.99 one way.

The flight prices above are all for dates in January, but now also seems to be one of the best times for eager 2023 summer holiday makers to book flights.

The cost of one way tickets triple in price come August, with flights to Spain, France, and Portugal often going for around £200 each come the school holidays.

Ryanair currently has an offer on all August dates, including £34.34 one way flights to Parma de Mallorca (Spain), £36.99 single to Alicante (Spain) and £39.99 tickets to Zadar (Croatia).

Jet2 post Black Friday deals

Last week over Black Friday the company offered up to 50% off a range of hotel stays, from summer holidays in Portugal and Spain, as well as money-off October holidays.

The Black Friday prices ended on November 28 but a new range of deals have been added into Cyber Monday week and today's 'Travel Tuesday'.

The offers are split into 'Departing Soon' which include retur flights to Geneva, Prague and Gran Canaria, to 'Summer 2023' deals.

The deals we'd urge shoppers to look at is the flights during the 2023 summer school holidays, which include flights to Malaga from £51 and Ibiza from £65. This may sound more pricey than the likes of Ryanair, but Jet2's prices include a 23KG baggage allowance per passenger (as opposed to an added fee).
