AirHop Bristol trampoline park launches new slides that are 'first in the UK'

AirHop Bristol is now home to a brand new attraction that is said to be the first of its kind to open in the UK. The indoor trampoline park situated by The Mall at Cribbs Causeway first launched in 2015 and has more than 140 interconnected trampolines.

The park, which also has a site in Guilford, has seen several upgrades over the years and the 'AirSlide' attraction is the latest feature to add to its list. AirSlides are indoor launch slides that look like the type of slides you see at a water park - featuring a steep drop that curves up at the end.

There is no water involved, however, and participants slide down head-first on a mat and will be propelled into the air to have their fall cushioned perfectly on an oversized airbag. The pink scoop slide is similar to a half pipe in a skate park which does just that – after launching from the slide tower you then slide up and down from one side to the other of the half pipe before exiting via an air-filled mat.

AirSlides are open now at the Patchway venue and available to book as part of the Open Jump sessions to everyone who is at least 1.20m in height and over the age of four.

The park has seen several other new attractions added in the past months such as a reaction wall to the main court, a jump tower to the AirBag, Dodge Attack added to the Dodgeball court, brand new Ninja Tag Pods, two AeroStrike courts as well as a multi-sports arena.

For children from six months up to six years old, the park offers MiniHopper Takeover where little ones jump to their heart’s content in a fun and safe environment, including a soft play area and sensory toys. AirHop offers a 2-for-1 deal on Tuesdays giving you two hours of fun for the price of one.

AirHop Bristol tickets cost £13.50, £17.50 and £21 for 60, 90 and 120-minute sessions and group family tickets are also available. The venue is also looking to hire a number of positions as part of the expansion with more information available on its website.
