Airdrie manager Ian Murray and attacking midfielder Dylan Easton have taken home the League One manager and player of the month awards for January.
The Diamonds enjoyed a strong month where they won three and drew two of their five matches in the league.
Easton meanwhile has grabbed three goals and three assists in 2022, emerging as a key threat in attack for manager Murray.
A huge game awaits Airdrie this weekend as they travel to League One's table toppers Cove Rangers. The Diamonds are second will want to cut the cap to four points.
Murray said: “The award is recognition for the team and the staff, it’s nice to win as it shows we’re improving.
“January was a month where we couldn’t take the foot off the gas at all, and to come through unbeaten shows that the players’ performance levels have been excellent - that goes hand in hand with good results.
“It’s good for the club and the players, particularly Dylan who has done really well, to get recognised and use this as an opportunity to win more and make a push."
Easton added: “I’m delighted with the award. On a personal note, players set goals and this was one that I wanted to tick off.
“But it’s the old cliche - I couldn’t have done it without my teammates. They’re the ones who help me score my goals and create chances, so while it’s me that’s getting the recognition, it’s down to my teammates as well.”
