Airbnb is making its 'biggest change in a decade' and it's going to be a hit with intrepid explorers.
That's because the holiday rentals platform is revamping the way you can search for stays, so you can easily unearth some of its coolest and quirkiest homes.
We're talking boats, caves, treehouses, castles and even windmills. Looking for a lakefront location, amazing views or a pool that's going to leave all your Instagram followers green with envy? They've got you covered too, as there are 56 categories to choose from.
You can also choose a destination, or simply search for the types of homes and features you're after, and add a bit of extra adventure when planning your next trip.

The platform says that over four million unique homes are included across the categories, so you won't be stuck for ideas.
The idea is that the categories sort homes based on what makes them unique, rather than destination, giving people the chance to discover places they may not have otherwise found.
The brand says it aims to help "alleviate over-tourism by redistributing travel to new locations beyond the same popular destinations".
It's not the only change coming to the platform. Holidaymakers will also be able to use 'Split Stay' and book multiple homes for longer trips, as well as new AirCover essentially offering booking and check-in protection.
That also comes with a 'Get What You Booked' guarantee giving you three days to report an issue if you think your listing isn't as advertised. Once you report your issue Airbnb will look to find you a similar or better property, or offer you a refund.
Speaking of the changes Brian Chesky, CEO and Co-Founder of Airbnb, said: "The way people travel has changed forever. That’s why we’re introducing the biggest change to Airbnb in a decade.
"First, people are more flexible about where they live and work, so we’ve designed a new way to search with Airbnb Categories. Second, people are taking longer trips, so we created Split Stays to give you more options by splitting your trip between two homes. And third, we’re introducing AirCover for guests, giving you the confidence to book knowing that Airbnb’s got your back."
The new changes are being rolled out across the world this week. You can find out more on airbnb.co.uk.
