Airbnb guests are complaining about lengthy chore lists they're required to complete before leaving the property.
People staying in the holiday lets have told of property requirements including taking out the rubbish, washing the sheets and mowing the lawn at the end of their stays.
Sometimes these asks come on top of a hefty cleaning fee, leaving some feeling less than well looked after, the Wall Street Journal reports.
One TikToker @Melworeit has gone viral with claims that she was charged a $125 cleaning fee (£110) by a host who asked guests to take out the rubbish, put the dishwasher on, load laundry into the washing machine and remove bed clothes.

Hundreds of people piled into the comments below her story to share their own tales of chore lists at Airbnbs.
"If I'm paying $229 a night to stay somewhere plus a $125 cleaning fee, I'm not doing any laundry," Mel said in her video.
"I know it's like one load of laundry and it'll take me two minutes to do, but it's the principle that really bothers me."
Many people agreed, with one commenting: "I have no issue with things like 'put dirty dishes in sink' or whatever but why am I paying a cleaning fee to clean myself? Back to hotels fully for me."
Another person wrote: "If you think laundry was bad I got blindsided last summer. we were expected to feed chickens twice a day! There was no mention of chickens anywhere!"
The issue is one that has been causing irritation within the travelling community for some time.
In July one Airbnb host asked on Reddit whether it was "normal for a host to tell the guest to mow the lawn themselves?"
"Seems like a strange response given the premium being paid for staying here (to me, at least), but if that's standard then I'll roll with it," they wrote.
"I just don't want to be penalized/charged/poorly reviewed for 'neglecting' the lawn if I don't do it."
The post attracted more people who said they had been burned by the high expectations of Airbnb hosts, who were also charging cleaning fees.
"Place was expensive but figured worth it to be able to hang out," one man wrote of a stay.
"The whole fam did all the dishes, swept the entire place, wiped down counters, took out the trash, stripped all the beds, took all the towels down to the laundry room, did two loads of laundry and left.
"Dude said I didn't treat his house like a home...because a throw blanket was on the couch."
A spokesperson for Airbnb said: "While Hosts maintain the ability to choose their own cleaning fees, we do offer tips to Hosts on keeping the amount reasonable and suggest they consider not charging cleaning fees at all.
"To that end, among active Airbnb listings globally, 45 percent do not charge a cleaning fee. For listings that do charge a cleaning fee, the fee on average is less than 10 percent of the total reservation cost."
