Air hostess leaves people wanting to 'skip flights' after grim plane window warning

A seasoned air hostess has made a list of five things she would 'never do' while onboard a flight.

Cabin crew Danielle compiled the list on a TikTok video, where she regularly shares travel content. The flight attendant, who lives in Cheshire, warned followers her views 'might be a little controversial' and said she'd never rest with her head against the window.

She said: "This might be a little controversial but I would never fall asleep with my face against the window. So many people - hundreds if not thousands - have had access to that window and have been touching it."

The Mirror reports that a number of people were taken aback by the insider tip, with many having never before considered the cleanliness level of their plane window.

One person gasped: "Surely the window is cleaned though before a new passenger is in…"

Another admitted: "My son licked the window last week."

A third disgusted individual commented: "Think I will just skip flying now."

Danielle who admits she 'uses tissue to touch anything' in the plane loo, also urged her followers against using the bathroom without their shoes on, adding: "It may look like water on the floor but trust me guys, it's really not. I am sure you can guess what it is."

Indeed, she's so wary about the hygiene of plane bathrooms, she usually just 'kicks' the door to slide it open rather than risk using her bare hands.
