An air ambulance has been seen landing in a field in Nottinghamshire. The emergency aircraft reportedly landed at Glade Hill school in Bestwood.
Photos and videos of the helicopter landing were widely shared on social media from around 9am on Monday (March 27). It could be seen trying to land in the Bestwood area before successfully touching down in a field.
Nottinghamshire Police officers said they had no involvement in dealing with the incident. A spokesperson for East Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We received a call at 7.40am this morning, Monday 27 March to a private address in Bestwood, Nottingham. The caller reported a medical emergency. We sent a paramedic in an ambulance car, a crewed ambulance and the air ambulance was also in attendance. We transported one patient to Queen’s Medical Centre via land ambulance."
