A person has been taken to hospital after the air ambulance was called to an incident in Newtownabbey.
The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service were called at 12.36pm on Tuesday, March 15, to Bridge Road following reports of an incident.
Three ambulances and the air ambulance were despatched to the area.
One person was treated by paramedics at the scene before they were later taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast by ambulance for further treatment.
An NIAS spokesperson said: "The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a 999 call at 12.36 on Tuesday, 15 March 2022 following reports of an incident in the Bridge Road area, Newtownabbey.
"NIAS despatched one Emergency crew, two Rapid Response Paramedics and the Charity Air Ambulance with HEMS on board were also challeneged to the incident.
"Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, one patient was taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital by Ambulance."
