An air ambulance was called to a collision involving two cars in Newton Heath.
The smash took place on Oldham Road, at the junction with Ten Acres Lane, at around 9.30am this morning.
Police vehicles, an ambulance and the air ambulance attended the scene.
However, there were no reports of any serious injuries and no road closures have been.

A silver BMW and a silver Ford were damaged following the smash.
It is the second collision to have taken place on this section of Oldham Road today.
Earlier this morning a HGV and a motorbike rider were involved in a collision on Oldham Road, at the junction with Grimshaw Lane, in Monsall.
The motorbike rider was taken to hospital suffering with serious injuries.
A spokeswoman for the North West Ambulance Service described his condition as critical.

This section of Oldham Road remains closed.
A spokeswoman for Greater Manchester Police said: "We were called to a road traffic collision between a silver BMW and a silver Ford on Oldham Road after 9.30am this morning."
The spokeswoman added there were only reports of 'minor injuries'.
