A man has been charged with dangerous driving after a three vehicle crash in the Highlands this afternoon.
Cops were called out at around 3pm Wednesday July 20 after reports of the collision on the A9 near Dalwhinnie. The road was quickly closed off in both directions as emergency crews arrived.
Traffic Scotland announced at 4:40pm that the A9 northbound remains closed but is open again southbound but cops said the road was fully open by 5:20pm.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3pm on Wednesday, 20 July, 2022, officers were called to reports of a three vehicle crash on the A9 near Dalwhinnie.
“One man has been charged in connection with dangerous driving. The road was re-opened around 5.20pm.”
