An air ambulance landed in Seaham this afternoon following a 'medical episode' in the area.
The Great North Air Ambulance and two emergency ambulance crews were dispatched to a private address at 3.52pm on Saturday.
Local residents reported that the ambulance landed in a field close to Seaham High School.

Two ambulances were also witnessed attending the incident in the nearby Melrose Crescent area.
A NEAS spokesperson said: "We received a call at 3.52pm to a medical incident at a private address on Melrose Crescent in Seaham.
"Two emergency ambulance crews and the air ambulance were sent to the scene."
