Aiden McGeady has thanked Celtic CEO Michael Nicholson for his time and insight after a meeting with the Parkhead power broker.
The former Hoops player is currently undergoing recover from an injury that has put an early end to his season at Hibs, who he joined last summer after a stint at Sunderland. At the age of 37 now, McGeady is looking to what might come next in his career in football, with time on the pitch approaching its twilight zone.
And it appears as if that along with Hibs, his former side have come in to help out. Taking to his LinkedIn page, the former Republic of Ireland international announced that Hibs took him through the Director of Football process as they opted for Brian McDermott in that role. Nicholson has opted to share some of his knowledge as Celtic chief executive with the player who starred in green and white between 2004-2010.
He posted: "Great chat with CEO of Celtic Fc, Michael Nicholson yesterday regarding all things football, strategy and future."
