For all of the complaining from certain quarters over the GAA inter-county season now being wrapped up so soon, it has been nice to see players more able to properly enjoy their summer since they now have additional time to travel the globe.
Of course, we're still only in the first full year of the new split season model so it's too early to tell if the positives outweigh the negatives overall.
