AI Supercomputer Picks Players To End Arsenal Striker Issue

Arsenal are in desperate need of a striker so we asked our AI Supercomputer for the top five options that the Gunners could sign this summer.

Mikel Arteta’s side have struggled to find an out-and-out goalscorer under Mikel Arteta, with the Gunners relying heavily on Bukayo Saka.

The Englishman has missed the last few weeks through injury and the likes of Kai Havertz, Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard failing to step up.

Gabriel Jesus began to find form, scoring five goals in two games against Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup and Premier League.

The Brazilian also scored against Brentford but this does not distract from his poor overall record of 26 goals in 95 appearances for the Gunners.

Supporters have been calling for a striker during the recent transfer windows and our AI Supercomputer has identified five players that could join Arsenal.

AI Supercomputer Picks Top 5 Striker Signings For Arsenal

1. Victor Osimhen (Napoli)

The Nigerian international joined Galatasaray on loan after his plan to force a move away from Napoli failed to materialise and the club did not want him playing in Naples this season.

During his time in Turkey, the 26-year-old has contributed to 18 goals in 16 games across all competitions (13G+5A) and has been a mainstay under Okan Buruk.

Osimhen has been linked with a move to the Premier League for multiple seasons now, with Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United all showing interest.

His contract at Napoli expires in June 2026 and he will be looking to return to Europe’s top five leagues but could cost Arsenal around £90 million.

2. Viktor Gyokeres (Sporting Lisbon)

Viktor Gyokeres has been a revelation for Sporting Lisbon, contributing to 95 goals in 79 appearances (74G+21A) and is regarded as one of the best strikers in Europe.

The Swedish international has been linked with a return to the Premier League after an unsuccessful spell with Brighton and was heavily rumoured with a reunion with Ruben Amorim at Manchester United.

However, given the recent form of Amorim’s side, Gyokeres may be looking at other options in England and Arsenal are the obvious target given their need for a striker.

Gyokeres has a deal with Sporting until 2028 which currently has a release clause at around £83m which would be a huge expenditure for the Gunners.

3. Alexander Isak (Newcastle)

Newcastle are flying high in the Premier League and just picked up a 2-0 win over Arsenal in the opening leg of the Carabao Cup semi-finals.

One man who has been key, even scoring at the Emirates in the Carabao Cup victory is Alexander Isak, who continues to impress under Eddie Howe.

Contributing to 19 goals in 22 appearances (15G+4A) across all competitions so far, the Swedish international is regarded as one of the best strikers in the league alongside Erling Haaland.

Newcastle could face difficulties with Financial Fair Play in the summer and may be open to offers for the 25-year-old – meaning Arsenal could strike a deal with the Magpies.

4. Dusan Vlahovic (Juventus)

The Serbian international has endured a mixed run as a Juventus player since signing from Fiorentina in January 2022 for around £69m.

So far in the 2024/25 campaign, Vlahovic has scored 12 goals in 23 appearances (all competitions) which has brought his name back into the shortlist for Premier League clubs.

Reports have started to circulate over Juventus offering Arsenal the chance to sign the Serbian for around £45.6m – far less than what they paid for him back in 2022.

Our AI Supercomputer has placed him as the third most likely option, as the three previous options could be more attractive deals.

5. Randal Kolo Muani (PSG)

Randal Kolo Muani’s spell with PSG has not gone according to plan after joining the French side for around £64.2m and £12.2m in add-ons.

The Frenchman has scored 11 goals in 54 appearances for PSG so far and has scored just two goals in the 2024/25 campaign.

The former Frankfurt player has been linked with a move away from Paris and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on the 26-year-old.

However, our AI Supercomputer beleives the Frenchman could join the other club in north London and ease Arsenal’s striker issues.

AI Summary

Victor Osimhen, Napoli’s dynamic forward, is known for his explosive pace, strength, and clinical finishing, making him a constant threat in counter-attacks and in aerial duels. His ability to stretch defences would bring a different dimension to Arsenal’s attacking play. Viktor Gyokeres, a versatile striker from Sporting Lisbon, combines creativity with a sharp eye for goal, offering Arsenal a flexible attacking option who can play across the front line, providing depth and technical prowess. Alexander Isak of Newcastle is a physically imposing and skilful striker with a superb touch and vision, capable of holding the ball up and linking play, which would add a different focal point to Arsenal’s attack. Dusan Vlahovic, Juventus’ powerful forward, is known for his strong finishing ability, particularly in tight situations, and his ability to win aerial duels, which would complement Arsenal’s fast and intricate style of play by offering a more traditional target man. Lastly, Randal Kolo Muani from PSG is a rapid, intelligent forward with a great work rate and flair, capable of dropping deeper to create chances, adding versatility and creativity to Arsenal’s front line, while also being a consistent goal scorer. Each of these strikers would bring different attributes, enhancing Arsenal’s attacking depth and tactical flexibility.
