A second arrest has been made in relation to an alleged antisemitic video posted by a nurse and a male colleague on social media in which they bragged about killing Israeli patients, refusing them treatment and claiming they would go to hell.
Police arrested 27-year-old Ahmad ‘Rashad’ Nadir at Sutherland Police Station at 7.30pm on Tuesday after detectives began investigating the video which was posted from Bankstown Hospital and shared to a livestream platform.
Nadir has been charged with two charges, including using a carriage service to menace, harass, offend or threaten to menace, harass or cause offence and possessing a prohibited drug.
Nadir is due to appear at the Downing Centre Local Court on Wednesday, 19 March. He has been granted conditional bail.

On February 26, Sydney nurse Sarah Abu Lebdeh, 26, was charged with three Commonwealth offences for her alleged part in the video.
She was charged with threatening violence to a group, using carriage service to threaten to kill and using a carriage service to menace, harrass or offend.
Police Commissioner Karen Webb has praised detectives from Strike Force Pearl — an investigations unit specifically looking into antisemitic hate crimes — for their swift action.
“I must commend the work Strike Force Pearl detectives are doing to investigate, charge and put these individuals before the courts,” she said.
“There is a tremendous amount of dedication and hard work going into all these investigations.
“Detectives have overcome many challenges – including huge public expectation – to put these individuals before the court.”
Strike Force Pearl has so far arrested 15 people and laid 78 charges.
