'Agreement reached' for Rasmus Kristensen to join Leeds United after internationals

Leeds United have now reportedly reached an agreement for Red Bull Salzburg right-back Rasmus Kristensen who could secure a move after the international break with Denmark. Kristensen is currently away on international duty in the Nations League, with Leeds officials potentially travelling to him to complete a medical ahead of a £10 million move.

Last week, the West Yorkshire side announced that they had secured Brenden Aaronson who joined for £25 million.

And it was reported yesterday that a move for Ramus Kristensen was heading in the right direction when talks were progressing, with it now looking like a deal is all-but wrapped up. The exciting 24-year-old right-back has been described as the best defender in Austria after an impressive season with Marsch's former side.

Borussia Dortmund and Brentford are also reportedly keen on the defender, but Leeds know they have a growing problem at right-back if their injury problems worsen. Kristensen would provide good competition for Luke Ayling upon his return from injury, having played in the Champions League with Salzburg last year.

And today, transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano has now reported that the deals have been agreed. He said: "Full agreement set to be reached between Leeds and RB Salzburg for Rasmus Kristensen. Danish right-back's expected to join Leeds in the coming days, once final details will be resolved. Kristensen will be able to undergo medical tests after international duty."
