Aggravated assault charge against Titans RB Hassan Haskins dismissed

After facing an aggravated assault charge stemming from a domestic incident in June, Tennessee Titans running back Hassan Haskins had the charge dismissed after a hearing on Wednesday, according to court documents.

Haskins, who is currently on the commissioner’s exempt list, was charged with felony aggravated assault by strangulation after a domestic disturbance with his then-girlfriend.

Haskins’ ex-girlfriend was also charged with aggravated assault, along with assault with a deadly weapon and felony vandalism. The status of those charges is currently unknown.

While on the commissioner’s exempt list, Haskins cannot practice or attend games. Prior to being moved there, Haskins was placed on season-ending injured reserve. If he reverts back to IR, Haskins would have to reach an injury settlement with the team to be removed and play in 2023. The severity of his injury is unknown.

Haskins appeared in 15 games (one start) with Tennessee during his rookie season and played 155 snaps on offense and 234 on special teams.
