Get ready to be enchanted by the weirdest, wackiest, most addictive phenomenon known as Agatha All Along. The exciting new series is the missing mystic puzzle piece that Disney+ has needed. Nay, that television has needed.
Yep, that cosmic void in your soul is about to be filled and it’s going to be a wild ride for all.
The series follows wicked Marvel witch Agatha Harkness, played by criminally underrated funny girl Kathryn Hahn who always plays the unforgettable side character, but now she’s finally receiving the props she deserves with a series focusing on her.
The fact that a freshly introduced villainous character who tried to take out one of the beloved Avengers managed to score her own spinoff series is a true testament to Hahn’s loveable nature and innate fucking hilarity which she can’t help but exude in every role she plays. Even when she’s hellbent on destroying all that is good!
Hahn does a fabulous job of anchoring the series but much like with the Avengers, the magic is in the ensemble and good sweet lord, what an ensemble we have here!
Agatha All Along sees the titular character walk the Witches’ Road — a treacherous journey where the witch is tested by their greatest fears — with a group of misfit witches, all desiring to regain their powers.
First of all, I have two words for you. Three, actually: Aubrey. Fucking. Plaza.

As everyone’s favourite weird girl, I suppose it was only a matter of time before the IRL April Ludgate played a witch.
Plaza’s character Rio Vidal takes on multiple forms in the series, each more intriguing and captivating than the last.
Then you’ve got theatre legend Patti LuPone as Lilia Calderu, a fortune-telling witch, along with Ali Ahn as protection witch Alice Wu-Gulliver, Sasheer Zamata as potion witch Jennifer Kale, Joe Locke as enthusiastic young witch Teen, and That 70s Show’s Debra Jo Rupp returning as Sharon Davis (she previously appeared in WandaVision).

In TV’s current landscape of oversaturated, half-assed nonsense, Agatha All Along absolutely shines as a one of a kind magic carpet thrill ride, unlike anything we’ve ever seen before.
Do you need to have seen WandaVision to watch Agatha All Along?
Not really, to be honest!
I watched with my BF who didn’t watch WandaVision and he followed along easily and had almost no questions.
The majority of the characters are brand spanking new and the storyline feels so separate to previous Marvel shows and flicks.
All you need to know is that Agatha is an evil witch who was trapped in a world created by the Scarlet Witch at the end of WandaVision. The rest is all a new journey that we’re walking together, not unlike how the witches are walking the Witches’ Road.
Will Scarlet Witch AKA Wanda be in Agatha All Along?
We don’t know yet!
The rumour mill has been bubbling like a witch’s cauldron about whether or not we’ll see Wanda appear at some point throughout the coven’s journey down the Witches’ Road.
To be honest, I doubt it…
Her ending in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness made it appear that she won’t be popping up any time soon.
But I would absolutely love love LOVE to be wrong! We shall see, witches.
