At this point, we might as well just call him Coach Whitworth.
For the second time during training camp, Andrew Whitworth was on the field with the Los Angeles Rams, observing their practice but also helping out where he could. Obviously, his focus is the offensive line, and he’s trying to help the younger guys as they look to make their mark up front.
On Sunday, Whitworth worked closely with rookie Logan Bruss, and the Rams shared a video of Whitworth giving Bruss some tips after a rep at right guard. He was teaching the rookie how to use his hands properly, adding that “my feet go with my hands” when talking about footwork.
Afterwards, Whitworth shared some praise for the rookie and said he can’t wait to watch his journey.
Can’t wait to watch @LoganBruss journey! He’s eager to learn, processes the info, and puts it in action! That’s a great place to start! Every player has their own development timeline. Just has to take it one day at a time! Keep chasing! https://t.co/MLMxhsS7S9

Whitworth isn’t officially on the Rams’ coaching staff, but he seems to have an open invite to any practice he’d like to attend. He’s an invaluable resource to the team’s younger linemen, as well as the veterans.
