After Twitter account mocking Jason Tindall goes viral, Newcastle responds hilariously

While Newcastle manager Eddie Howe has been praised for leading his team into the Champions League this season, his assistant Jason Tindall has recently drawn greater notice.

Tindall has drawn so much attention that he inspired a Twitter account which makes fun of the coach and accuses him of constantly trying to dominate the spotlight during games.

The account called ‘Jason Tindall desperate to be centre of attention’ has shared various clips which have gone viral, including one which shows Tindall going in for a handshake with the opposition manager before Howe.

In another clip, Tindall is rejected a handshake from AFC Bournemouth manager Gary O’Neil.

Other moments the Twitter account has captured:

The account frequently provides clips and pictures of the Magpies coach allegedly playing up for the camera.

How has Newcastle United F.C. reacted?

Newcastle United responded to the account in a hilarious way.

The club have shown their support for the assistant manager by sharing a picture of the 45-year-old from a recent game with a huge smile on his face, captioning it with a goat emoji.

As the match season is coming to an end, Newcastle are in a very good position.

The Magpies have four games left to lock up a top-four Premier League finish as they compete for position behind top-two Manchester City and Arsenal with Manchester United, Liverpool, Brighton, and outsiders Tottenham.

Last weekend's 2-0 home loss to Arsenal may have derailed their momentum and raised expectations among the pursuing pack of a late-season slump, but head coach Howe is optimistic about Newcastle's future.

After being acquired by a group that included the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF), PCP Capital Partners, and the Reuben Brothers, they are now in third place in their first complete season and made it to the Carabao Cup final.
