Week One is not supposed to be this emotion. But when the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals square off there are always fireworks. This time around both teams traded shots for four quarters and all the way through overtime only to see the game end on a clutch overtime field goal by kicker Chris Boswell to pull off the 23-20 upset.

Four interceptions, six sacks and a forced fumble with outside linebacker Alex Highsmith having three of those sacks. The Bengals were able to move the football but drive after drive Pittsburgh found a way to stall drives out until the final play when Burrow connected with wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase as time expired.
Pittsburgh’s offense was non-existent all game long. new starting quarterback Mitch Trubisky struggled to see the field, showed poor accuracy and with no running game for balance had to rely on defensive scores and multiple field goals to keep pace.
In overtime both teams possessed the ball multiple times with each group trading punches and missed field goals. The Steelers defense came up big one last time with a huge sack by cornerback Arthur Maulet forcing a punt. The Steelers got back into field goal range and Boswell didn’t miss when given a second chance.
