The Arizona Cardinals did not make the playoffs this season, but some of their former players did.
The AFC Championship Game features the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs. The game kicks off at 6:30 p.m. ET and airs on CBS. Between the two teams on their rosters and practice squads, there are four former Cardinals.
Check them out below.
Former Cardinals players on Buffalo Bills
- DL Jordan Phillips
Phillips played two injury-filled seasons in 2020 and 2021 after signing a three-year, $30 million deal in free agency. It was disappointing. He is in his third stint with the Bills in his career.
- LB Tyreek Maddox-Williams
Maddox-Williams is on Buffalo’s practice squad. He played three games for the Cardinals on special teams in 2023 and spent much of the season on their practice squad and then was on the roster last offseason and preseason before getting cut.
Former Cardinals players on Kansas City Chiefs
- WR Hollywood Brown
Brown played two seasons for the Cardinals before signing with the Chiefs in free agency last year.
- WR DeAndre Hopkins
Hopkins started the season with the Tennessee Titans but was traded to the Chiefs. He played three seasons for the Cardinals from 2020-2022 and set the franchise single-season record for receptions in a season when he hauled in 115 passes in 2020.
- OT D.J. Humphries
Humphries signed late in the season with the Chiefs and is back after hurting his hamstring. He was drafted by the Cardinals in the first round in 2015 and played nine seasons for them. He was their starting left tackle for the final seven. He was cut in the offseason while recovering from a torn ACL.
- RB Keaontay Ingram
Ingram is on the Chiefs’ practice squad. He was drafted by the Cardinals in the sixth round in 2022 and played a season and a half for them before he was released.
