A group of Aer Lingus passengers made the most of their time staying in a hotel after their flight home from Berlin was cancelled.
People were devastated when they heard that the plane would not take off until the day after. But spirits were quickly raised when the group joined together to make the most of a bad situation.
A massive session happened that night in the hotel they were staying it, with an impromptu Rock-the-Boat taking place in the early hours. A TikTok of the lively crowd having a ball quickly went viral with some people calling it "the most Irish thing ever."

One passenger told Dublin Live that she saw fellow passengers going straight to the bar after arriving in the hotel. Anna O'Connor said: "We were in Berlin. We were actually on a trip with a company from Cork called National Beauty. They distribute Bare by Vogue products. I'm a client of theirs so it was a work trip.
"We were on the way back from Berlin and literally were at the gate and they told us the flight was cancelled. We were literally ready to board but sure the flight had never left Dublin. We just didn't realise it.
"The guy that owns the company was organising a hotel. He just booked the hotel but there were a load of other people from the plane in that hotel. I think it was the only one available near the airport.
"It turned into a brilliant night. We arrived at half 11 and I met someone else running down the corridor worrying that the bar was going to close at midnight. Everyone went to the bar.
"We did a bit of a whip around for the barman and he was great craic. The bar stayed open until 5 in the morning, ended up having a sing-song and everything.
"It was just one of those nights. At the start, everyone was really annoyed and people had work the next day. People just said they might as well enjoy themselves. We all just let loose and bonded.
"The flight home wasn't until the following night. It was so funny the next day, we were all hanging around. There was a pool there and but we had to check out of our rooms. We only had a few hours sleep before checking out.
"It was a good old night."
