Christmas may be a few months' away, however this isn't stopping BrewDog getting into the festive spirit early. The brewery and pub chain have launched their advent calendar which is great if you want to get super organised and start planning for Christmas now.
The collection is bursting with 24 full-sized, brewed goodies. It is packed with craft beer varieties including Cold Front, Hoppy Xmas and Cake Cartel.
Getting an advent calendar is similar to ordering food off the tasting menu in a restaurant - you get to try a whole bunch of new dishes in smaller portions and explore new flavours that you would otherwise never get to try out. Another joy of advent calendars is that a surprise awaits you each day in the exciting run-up to Christmas.
Will Hazy Jane be behind a door? BrewDog say this is one of their popular IPAs with notes of pineapple, mango and stone fruit to transport tastebuds away for the winter.
There is a good chance that the maiden beer - the beer that started it all - Punk IPA, will be packed in the advent calendar. Expect notes of caramel and tropical fruit, sucker punches of tart grapefruit, and tropical pineapple and lychee.
Whatever the daily countdown reveals, the calendar's aim is to delight all palates with a flavour for everyone. Even the most experienced sippers are likely to find a variety they haven’t tried, such as the Milkshake IPA with its kiwi, lychee and berry notes.
How to get your BrewDog advent calendar
The BrewDog Advent Calendar is available in a box of 24 x 330ml cans including one harmony glass. The entire package will retail for RRP £59.95.
