Adrienne Bailon has some cheetah-licious news to share.
The New York-born “Cheetah Girls” actress and former “The Real” co-host, 38, and husband Israel Houghton took to Instagram Tuesday to share that they had welcomed their first child together, son Ever James, via surrogate.
“Our baby boy is here & we are so in love!” read the sweet caption accompanying the black and white portrait of the new family. “If you have followed our love story... you know that our journey to baby has been very challenging. ... We have quietly prayed while sitting on this most magnificent secret for the last 9 months.”
The couple noted that their new addition “is worth every tear, every disappointment, every delayed prayer, every IVF cycle, every miscarriage. Everything.
“All we feel is joy and overwhelming love & gratitude,” continued the caption. “Grateful to God, to our angel surrogate and to all of our friends and family who have stood with us for over 5 years on this journey. He’s here and we have never been happier to lose sleep!”
Bailon and gospel singer Houghton — whose age has been reported both as 47 and 51 — tied the knot in 2016, according to an anniversary post she made last November. Bailon, through the marriage, is a step-mom to Houghton’s four children from a prior relationship, People reports.
