Adorable way King Charles and Queen Camilla look at Kate Middleton in sweet clip

The Princess of Wales has always been close with her in-laws - and their close bond was clear to see during a lunch at Buckingham Palace with Commonwealth leaders. Kate Middleton and Queen Camilla hosted the gathering for dignitaries from across the Commonwealth, as they gathered ahead of the 'reception of the century' involving 500 leaders from across the world.

Kate wore a simple necklace made up of three strands of pearls - a tribute to Queen Elizabeth II, who was known to favour her own three-strand pearl necklace, while Camilla appeared to make a hopeful nod to the future with four gold bracelets, one of which adorned multiple royal blue four leaf clovers. A sweet video from behind-the-scenes has shown the look of delight on Charles and Camilla's faces when they see Kate.

In a Sky News video, they have massive grins on their faces as they adoringly look at Kate when she enters the room inside Buckingham Palace.

Over the years their bond has been evident, with Camilla on hand to give the younger Kate a whole wealth of advice.

At the time of William and Kate's wedding, it seems Camilla was keen to cement her bond with her new stepdaughter-in-law by gifting her a personalised gold bracelet.

In recent times, there have been several royal engagements that both Camilla and Kate have attended together.

Kate has always been close with her in-laws - and in particular the Queen.

They shared an incredible relationship over the years - one that endured until the monarch's death.

Prince William's romance with Kate blossomed during their university days - but it wasn't until years after that she finally officially met the Monarch.

While it was believed the Queen initially had some concerns about Kate becoming her grandson's wife, they quickly faded away once they started to bond.

WIlliam went to his grandmother to get advice on his future together with Kate - and she was reportedly disappointed when they broke up before getting back together.

Last week, Kate revealed Prince Louis' words when she told him about the Queen's death while speaking to crowds outside Windsor.

Kate told the children: "Louis said at least Grannie is with great grandpa now."

Last Saturday, the Prince and Princess of Wales were seen adorably pulling faces at a baby as they greeted crowds at Windsor Castle.

William and Kate spoke to wellwishers and looked at the floral tributes which had been left as tribute to the Queen after she sadly died.

The couple unexpectedly reunited with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for the first time in years as they put aside their differences after the passing of the brothers' grandmother - with all four shaking hands and chatting to members of the public who had been waiting patiently for hours.

In one particularly cute moment, William and Kate tried to get the attention of a baby who was being held over the railings.

While speaking to the baby's mum, Kate touchingly held the young child's hand and grabbed bunches of flowers from other members of the crowd.

Prince William, who was stood nearby, then noticed the baby as well and asked what her name was.

The heir to the throne could be seen pulling faces as he tried to get the child's attention in a very sweet moment.

William then thanked the parents for coming out to pay their respects to his late grandmother.
