An adorable otter pup has been rescued after its mum was tragically killed by a car.
SSPCA staff were called to Coll, an island located west of the Isle of Mull, last week where they found the pup.
Fearing the tiny creature wouldn't survive, an inspector for the charity, John, took the otter to the vet where it was checked over and given milk.
The SSPCA staff member then took the pup home after bad weather prevented it being transported to the wildlife hospital.
Estimated to be aged between seven and nine weeks old, the 'feisty' pup was syringe-fed and given a baby bath with warm water so it could have a swim.
A video released by the charity shows the adorable otter suckling the milk from the syringe while relaxing into its straw bed.
A spokesperson for the SSPCA said: ""John made sure not to handle the otter more than necessary, and has now transported him to our wildlife hospital. John’s amazing knowledge and quick thinking mean that this otter will now have a great chance at being rehabilitated."
