A talented schoolgirl singer wowed Christmas shoppers at St Enoch Square in Glasgow when she took a busker's microphone and began belting out tunes.
Lucia Mckechnie, 8, from Cumbernauld, was out at the shops with her mum and family over the weekend when she was offered the chance to perform by a street busker.
The little girl immediately took up the offer and showed nerves of steel as she performed hits from the muscial Annie. The talented youngster even managed to raise a whopping £50 from her short stint on the mic, reports Glasgow Live.
Her mum Jade said: "We were out at the Christmas markets with the full family and Lucia has always wanted to try busking every time we would see someone singing. Her gran asked a young boy, named Ryan Brown, who was busking, if she could have a turn to sing a song in the Christmas spirit and he agreed.
"Lucia made up to £50 from kind people giving her tips for her singing which she happily handed to Ryan for allowing her to sing and making her night or in Lucia’s words her dream come true. She now wants to do it again!"
Lucia is already a star in the making and recently performed in a local dance show and is due to appear in a production at the Lily Vivace Theatre School.
Jade added: "Her love for musicals, singing and dancing has been there from a very young age. Lucia loves Annie and has not stopped singing all the songs from the moment she watched the movies."
