An adorable video shows the moment Prince George held the Wimbledon trophy after Novak Djokovic triumphed over Nick Kyrgios in a four-set thriller.
The eight-year-old accompanied his parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, on Centre Court as the drama unfolded.
Some fans were concerned about the young prince sporting a navy suit in the sizzling 30C heat.
But he appeared in high spirits after the match when he met the seven-time Wimbledon champion for the first time.
The Serbian number one first shook Prince William's hand before he was introduced to young George after his victory speech and TV interviews.
Djokovic then handed the trophy - which weighs 3.5kg - to Prince George, while an anxious Kate Middleton grabbed the lid in case he dropped it.
Prince William and Djokovic enjoyed a short conversation while Prince George steadily held the trophy while Kate listened intently.
The commentators were chuckling as Royal fans gushed over the sweet video on Twitter.
One said: "I absolutely loved that moment!! I'm sure Prince George had a lot of fun and will talk about this to his friends a lot."
A second added: "Omg look at Georgie, grown so big and all." A third chimed in: "What a lovely moment for George! Very kind of him to let George hold it."
Earlier in the day, an excited Prince George could hardly contain himself as he attended his first ever Wimbledon final, without his younger siblings Princess Charlotte and Prince Louise.
George, dressed in a dashing suit and tie, arrived without siblings Charlotte or Louis but could be seen engrossed in the captivating showpiece.
While Kate, a patron of the All England Club, and William greeted a group of military personnel who are working as stewards at the championship, young George, eight, was asked who he was supporting.
The youngster appeared too shy to answer so William looked at him and whispered: “Djokovic” before adding: “We’ll see how long it lasts. He’ll support the winner.”
Watching from the Royal Box, George was snapped covering his head with his hands as he looked on nervously during the early stages of the fierce contest.
As Nick Kyrgios made a few outbursts including shouting at his coaching team, Prince George appeared less than impressed with the Australian's antics.
With the pair tied at one set each, George appeared to have a somewhat confused and scrunched look on his face as he looked in the direction of the Australian.
