Quinton Byfield’s biggest fan is Quinton Byfield. And yes, those are two different people!
Byfield is a rookie forward for the Los Angles Kings, a former No. 2 overall draft pick from 2020 who is — as of Monday — playing in his third NHL game. Byfield is also a young Kings fan who happens to share a name with the Los Angeles rookie in a wonderful, heartwarming coincidence.
On Monday, with the Kings visiting the New York Rangers, Little QB — as he’s become known as to fans — took in the game and prepared an adorable sign for his favorite player to see during warmups before the game.

What a moment Byfield, the fan, will never forget, I am sure. Moments like this are what make the biggest impressions, especially on a burgeoning young hockey fan — and player!! — he is.
We absolutely love to see it.
