Adorable Edinburgh dog trio desperate to stay together in new forever home

A local dog trio are looking for a new forever home in the hope they will be able to stay together.

The three furry best friends are currently being cared for at the Dog's Trust Shelter near Edinburgh, with staff releasing an appeal for a new owner to take them all on.

Zoe, Zack and Zara have been said to have 'bonded' during their stay at the shelter, with volunteers explaining that they "love each other very much".

A seven-year-old Bedlington Terrier, Zoe is said to be a "sweet, gentle girl with lots of love to give," and enjoys having a "zoom around in the garden" alongside her pals.

Staff added: "Zoe loves being around people and a snuggle on the sofa is one of her favourite things. She can potentially be left for a short period of time in a new home. Zoe walks great on her lead and loves exploring new areas with her best friends."

Zara, a seven-year-old Whipper, is said to also have a playful personality, with an appeal stating: "Zara is great fun to be around and watching her zoom around in the garden with Zak and Zoe is always a blast. She would like her own secure garden where they can play to their hearts content.

"Zara likes being around her family but does have the potential to be left alone for a short period of time at home. She is very polite when saying hello and taking treats and is overall a gentle girl. She walks great on the lead and loves exploring new areas."

The third member of the group, Zak, is also an energetic part of the trio, and like Zara, can be left on his own in the house for a short period of time.

Dog's Trust added: "Zak loves being around people and will always greet you with a waggy tail! His favourite thing to do is zoom around the garden with his Zara and Zoe. He is looking for his new home to have a secure garden where they can play and enjoy their time off lead. Zak is a clever boy who will offer up a trick for a tasty treat.

"He does have the potential to be left for a short period of time in the home with Zara and Zoe. Zak walks well on the lead and loves going on adventures."
