Adobe MAX is the annual creative conference held by one of the world's biggest developers of creative software – the company behind industry-standard tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro and now Firefly AI. The event comes around every October and features guest speakers, product announcements and sneak peaks of things that Adobe is working on for the future.
Creative Bloq is attending the event in Miami from Monday 14 October to Wednesday 16 October, and we'll be reporting on all the major announcements. But anyone can take part in the event online to join workshops, discussion sessions and more (find out how below).
Check out our guide to how to get an Adobe Creative Cloud discount if you're yet to start using Adobe's software, and see our Adobe software list for an overview of the company's main programs. In the meantime, here's what to expect from Adobe MAX 2024. We'll be updating this page during the event with all the news.

Adobe MAX news
Adobe MAX has just kicked off but we've already seen some exciting news in the form of over 100 updates to the Creative Cloud, including upgrades in Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom and Adobe Express. Photoshop is getting a major upgrade, including new Automatic Image Distraction Removal, and new Generative Workspace for ideation. There's also new tools such as 3D tools in Illustrator and text-to-video in Premiere Pro.
We'll be posting more about these updates as we get news on them.
Adobe MAX sneaks
One of the most exciting parts of the Adobe MAX event is MAX Sneaks. This is where Adobe gives us a glimpse of what it's been working on for the future. In previous years, the Adobe Sneaks has revealed major news, including the launch of Illustrator for iPad or its new AI-powered tools like Photoshop Generative Fill.
Last year, there was a new Adobe AI photo editing tool that's been dubbed Project Stardust. It appears to make it very easy to select and remove or manipulate objects or 'distractions' from photos.
This year, Sneaks are taking place on Tuesday 15 October at 10.30pm BST / 5.30pm EDT. Watch this space as we'll update you with the most important announcements when we can.
