Aditi Yadav finishes Horse Riding round in 73 seconds in National Competition

Meerut: Aditi Yadav, daughter of Samajwadi Party Supremo and former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Akhilesh Yadav, participated, with her horse Hippy, in the National Equestrian Competition organized by the Indian Equestrian Association at Modi Equestrian Academy Modipuram, reports Dynamite News correspondent. 

More than 145 equestrians and more than 226 horses from across the country are participating in six types of events in this six-day from 11-16 February national level show-jumping competition.

Aditi participated on behalf of EGC Stables Delhi team in the National Horse Riding Competition held on Thursday here in Meerut and cleared the first round with her horse Hippy in 73.61 seconds.

In the first phase of the competition, Aditi also crossed the challenge of crossing twelve 80 cm high hurdles along with other equestrians. Crossing 12 hurdles at a speed of 300 meters per minute, the equestrians performed best and entered the next phase. The time limit for equestrians in this competition was 88 seconds to 176 seconds. Show jumping competition's equestrian Aditi has performed a clear round by successfully crossing all the obstacles.

Aditi, who is participating with two horses among civil and military rival horsemen, has a foreign horse. She has been taking training in horse riding for the last five years.

Mother Dimple My Inspiration 

Aditi said that she got the inspiration to move forward in horse riding from her mother Dimple Yadav who herself is a trained horse rider. Her maternal grandfather was an army officer. Dimple took training in horse riding under the guidance of her father Ramchandra Singh Rawat. Now Aditi's goal is to win medals in horse riding competitions.

Gold Medal Winner

The team of Remount Training School Saharanpur has won the gold medal. In this competition, all the four teams that stood in the first four positions cleared all the rounds without any penalty.

The team of Sagar Equestrian Academy Jaipur won the silver medal while the team of Tark Equestrian Center Delhi won the bronze medal.

The final result of the team event of the Prelim Tour Competition was released on Thursday in the National Equestrian Competition Show Jumping being held at Modi Equestrian Academy Modipuram in collaboration with the National Equestrian Association.

The team of Remount Training School (RTS) & Depot Saharanpur has won the gold medal in this competition. The special thing is that all the four teams that were in the first four positions in this competition cleared all the rounds without any penalty.

Three Best Performances

The performance of the best three riders out of four riders is added to the merit of the result. This tie breaker was finally determined according to the time taken in clearing the round.

In all 85 riders participated in the Prelim Tour Competition. In this, 42 riders have qualified in the third stage for the individual event. 

Among the four riders in the RTS Saharanpur team, the performance of the pair of Avdhesh and Prithvi, Veer Singh and Rustam, Tinku Singh and Arnold and Ajit Singh and Prince Volcano has given the team the gold medal.

Second Place

In the second place, the team of Sagar Equestrian Academy Jaipur, Jyoti, Mahesh S., Dhwani Jain and Dhruvraj Singh won the silver medal. Similarly, the team of Tark Equestrian Center Delhi was in the third place.

Vishnu Panchaling, Lalita Yadav, Arnav Jain and Shidit Singh are included in this team. On the other hand, riders Dushyant Kumar, Stsya Pandya, Vishal Chaudhary and Arihant Kochar of Verdinand Equestrian Academy Delhi team were victorious in the fourth place.

Apart from the National Equestrian Championship (NEC) Prelim Tour Championship, NEC Young Horse Championship Tour Competition was also held in the competition on Thursday. After two stages of competition in this event, Modi Equestrian Academy's rider Gaurav Lonkar and his horse Azeezah are in the first place with the least number of four penalties.
