Adele 'spends week holed up at boyfriend's home to try to save their relationship'

Adele has reportedly spent the past week at boyfriend Rich Paul's home as the pair look to salvage their relationship.

The Easy On Me singer, 33, has been dating the millionaire sports agent since the middle of last year but it's thought that time apart has put a strain on their relationship.

Rich, 40, has been on the road with his work while Adele has been in Las Vegas preparing for her now postponed residency, meaning the pair have struggled to see each other.

A source told The Sun : "Adele is staying at Rich’s house in Beverly Hills just trying to fix their relationship because things have become strained.

"She was upset he couldn’t be there with her when things started falling apart with the residency and it made things difficult for them both. She needed him there, but he couldn’t because he has his own busy career too.

"It was a very emotional and stressful time for her. Now they are spending some quality time together to try to save things."

The source added that the pair really like each other still despite the fact it's been a tough few weeks.

Reports had earlier suggested that the relationship woes were the reason behind Adele's cancelled gigs after the singer had broke down on social media saying they shows simply weren't ready.

A source suggested to New York Daily News that "trouble in paradise" was the reason she couldn't perform.

Earlier in the month Adele emotionally addressed the cancellations, saying: "Listen, I'm so sorry but my show ain't ready.

"We've tried absolutely everything we can to put it together in time and for it to be good enough for you but we've been absolutely destroyed by delivery delays and Covid.

"Half my team, half my crew are hit by Covid, they still are and it's been impossible to finish the show and I can't give you what I have right now and I'm gutted.

"I'm sorry it's so last minute, we've been awake for over 30 hours now trying to figure it out and we've run out of time and I'm so upset and I'm really embarrassed."

As well as her postponed Las Vegas shows, the superstar singer is said to have pulled out of her scheduled performance at the BRIT Awards next month.

She had initially told event organisers she would perform at London's O2 Arena, but sources told The Sun that is no longer the case.

It's said to have left the event's bosses "scrambling to find alternative arrangements" for the annual awards show on February 8.

A source told the publication: "Adele was confirmed to perform on the night, but has now pulled out — which has been a massive blow for the organisers.

"They are talking to her team to see if she can appear by video link.

"It's a massive headache but they want her involved in any way she will agree."
