Adele serenades boyfriend Rich Paul with a rendition of Happy Birthday during Las Vegas show

Adele left fans in awe when she sang Happy Birthday to her boyfriend Rich Paul in the middle of her Las Vegas residency.

The hitmaker, 34, stopped her gig and asked concertgoers to help celebrate the sports agent’s 41st birthday with an impromptu performance of the celebratory tune.

Adele asked the crowd: “Quickly, it’s my boyfriend’s birthday today.

“And I love him more than life itself, so can we wish him happy birthday? His name’s Rich!”

She then led the audience in serenading Paul, who was in attendance at the show with his daughter Reonna.

Fans of the British superstar have since gone wild for the moment online.

The star confirmed her relationship with the American sports agent in September 2021 and told Elle in August that she is “obsessed” with him.

The 41-year-old is the founder of management company Klutch Sports Group, which represents high-profile basketball stars including LeBron James, Anthony Davis and John Wall.

The singer said of Paul: “I’ve never been in love like this. I’m obsessed with him.”

Elsewhere, the British superstar is currently performing at Caesars Palace’s The Colosseum as part of her Weekends With Adele residency, which began last month.

The shows, which run until March 2023, have drawn in an A-list crowd and give Adele the platform for candid interaction with her audience between songs.

The singer postponed the original run just 24 hours before its opening night, telling fans that the shows had been “destroyed” by delivery delays and Covid.

In an emotional post on Instagram, the Easy On Me singer said her production team had tried “absolutely everything” to pull the show together in time but that it had been “impossible”.

She promised that dates would be rescheduled and apologised to fans for the last-minute decision.

“I’m so upset and I’m really embarrassed and I’m so sorry to everyone who has travelled again. I’m really sorry,” she said.

Adele released her fourth album 30 last November and her Las Vegas residency was due to begin on January 21.
