Adele pulled off one of the more stunning weight loss transformations of recent times when she shed seven stones through the combination of intense work outs and changing her eating habits.
Since embarking on the new regimes, the 33-year-old singer has reportedly continued to stick the meal plans which worked so successfully.
When speaking to British Vogue, Adele insisted "I haven't done any diet," but rumours in US media suggested that she may have followed the Sirtfood diet, after she revealed: "If anything, I eat more than I used to because I work out so hard."
While Adele has never attributed her weight loss to following the Sirtfood diet, it has been reported in the United States that the meals she has admitted to eating would fit with that plan.
The Sirtfood diet is said to cut out processed foods, sugar and full-fat dairy, and it is thought that she may have followed the meal plans without going on the diet officially.
Breakfast
When speaking to Vogue, Adele said that she doesn't do intermittent fasting and that breakfast would be part of the daily plan.
She said that in previous years that to start the day, "I used to drink ten cups [of tea] a day with two sugars in each."
According to The Food Network, Adele may now be enjoying a brekkie of soya yoghurt with mixed berries, chopped walnuts and dark chocolate.
The numerous cups of tea may now be taken without the sugars.
Lunch
Adele admitted to Vogue that she had been doing "rigorous weight-lifting and circuit-training sessions every day" which would go to "twice a day if her anxiety is running high".
The singer said that she did this for three years and her lunch could have been a kale salad with parsley, celery, apples, and walnuts topped with olive oil and lemon juice.
This would reportedly give the nutrients required to refuel after her gruelling workouts.
Dinner
Adele has said that she enjoys cooking and that she turned to TV chef Jamie Oliver to enhance her foodie experience over the past few years.
She told British Vogue: "I learned to cook on my own maybe when I was like 18."
Adele added: "I read '30-Minute Meals' by good old Jamie Oliver. That's how I learned the basics of cooking."
She said that one of her specialities was a classic roast dinner, which she's "pretty great at doing every single Sunday."
Adele added that this was her son Angelo's favourite meal that she cooks.
Drinks
Adele didn't bin off alcohol while on her weight loss journey but she did find a taste for rosé, with one particular brand being her go to when the coronavirus pandemic was at its height.
She told Vogue: "My first emergency run at the grocery store was for Whispering Angel and ketchup.
"Whispering Angel turned me into a barking dog. It did not make me whisper."
The Day Off
When you are eating properly, there is a window for a day off from the meal plan and Adele has admitted that McDonald's is her 'day off' staple.
She even went on to say that the fast food would form the basis of her last meal.
The singer told British Vogue: "My ideal meal, my death row meal, my last meal, would be a McChicken Nugget with a Big Mac and then fries.
"That's my three-course [meal]. I eat it at least once a week!"
