Adele's reaction to SZA's Grammy's introduction has people in stitches

It was a big night for Adele at the 2023 Grammy's, with the pop star nominated for seven awards, including Record, Song and Album Of The Year. She went on to win Best Pop Solo Performance for Easy On Me.

As usual it was a night with heightened emotions, but Adele fans have spotted one moment which was particularly hilarious. In a now-viral clip, Adele's priceless reaction to hearing about the American singer SZA's former career path was captured.

During the prestigious ceremony, host Trevor Noah could be heard introducing SZA, but one camera angle perfectly captured the Easy on Me singer's confused reaction to hearing that the American star studied marine biology in college.

Speaking about her album SOS and specifically the song Kill Bill, the comedian continued: "Just think, this is a woman who almost became a marine biologist. And if she had, there would be no theme song for killing your ex."

Before pursuing a career in music, SZA gained a marine biology degree and continues to fight for environmental justice.

When she heard this information, Adele couldn't hide her confusion and shaking her head, before saying: "Oh, wow!" while talking to her boyfriend Rich Paul.

Social media users were in stitches after seeing the reaction of Adele.

One Instagram user said: "I can't stop laughing," while another simply said: "I'm crying" [sic].

Another said: "One of my favourite reactions ahahahh."

"Her facial expressions are the best thing ever," commented another.

One person added: "Adele always confused she's hilarious," while someone else said: "New meme unlocked."

The 65th Grammy Awards took place on Sunday evening, February 5, with the music industry's most successful stars gathered under one roof.

The crowd were blown away by performances from Harry Styles, Jay-Z, Stevie Wonder, Bad Bunny, Mary J. Blige, Brandi Carlile, Luke Combs, Kim Petras and Sam Smith.

The former One Direction star picked up the Album of the Year award for 2022's Harrys House, beating off huge competition including Beyoncé's Renaissance and Kendrick Lamar's Mr Morale & The Big Steppers.

However, Queen Bey did go on to make history as the most-awarded artist in Grammy history after picking up the award for Best Dance/Electronic Album. She now has 32 Grammy Awards in total.
