The day has finally come... Adele’s highly anticipated album30 has been released and fans have been feeling all the feels.
The record marks the 33-year-old’s fourth studio album and her big music comeback after a six-year break since her last album 25 was dropped back in 2015, so it’s safe to say fans are more than ready for some brand-new songs to listen to on repeat.
Her album, which includes 12 tracks and three bonus songs, comes off the back of her divorce from her ex-husband Simon Konecki in 2019, so we all expected some heartbreaking tearjerkers broaching this subject and we were correct. Be prepared to have your tissues at the ready upon listening, people.
When asked what 30 is about during an Instagram Live, Adele’s hilariously candid response soon went viral as she replied: “Divorce, babe, divorce.”

In a statement posted on her social media to announce new music, Adele wrote: “I’ve painstakingly rebuilt my house and my heart since then and this album narrates it. Home is where the heart is x.”
Here is how fans are reacting to Adele’s new album, and there’s perhaps one word and best describes their feelings... emotional.

Though there is one song in particular that fans are finding especially heartbreaking. In the track My Little Love, there are voice notes between Adele and her son Angelo who she co-parents with her ex-husband.
“Oi, I feel like you don’t love me,” Angelo tells his mum, and she asks: “Why do you feel like that?”
In response, the nine-year-old questions: “Do you like-like me?”
“You know mommy doesn’t like anyone else like I like you, right?” Adele reassures him.
In another conversation, Adele tells him: “Mummy’s been having a lot of big feelings recently. I feel a bit confused.”
Angelo asks his mum why to which Adele replies: “I feel like I don’t really know what I’m doing.”
“Oh, at all?” Angelo asks again concerned, which his mum mimics.
Later on, she says to her son: “I love your dad ’cause he gave you to me. You’re half me and you’re half Daddy.”
“I thought it might be a nice touch, seeing as everyone’s been at my door for the last 10 years, as a fan, to be like, “Would you like to come in?” Adele told Oprah about her inclusion of the voice notes during her One Night Only special.

Verdicts on30 have also been coming in, with many music critics giving positive reviews.
Rolling Stone’s Rob Sheffield gave the album five stars and described 30 as the “best Adele album yet,” while it received a four-star rating from Annabel Nugent at The Independent who described it as lyrically “candid.”
“Adele has always been forthright – every bad feeling you’ve felt, she has confessed to feeling too – but there is a new immediacy here,” she wrote.
People on Twitter also appear to agree that this latest record is some of Adele’s finest work.
Hate making premature takes but on the first listen this is Adele’s best album. It is just so clear. This woman is only in competition with herself 😭

Nah this Adele’s best album yet. So much growth and new attempts. So fluid. Controlled. Measured. And still with that emotional gut punch. She did that.

30 really is adele's best album, her magnum opus, somehow both her most intimate and her most grand, personal yet cinematic in ways she's never reached before. i'm blown away and so thankful that adele let us in like this. my favorite track has changed with each listen.

Despite the new album being received positively, the Easy On Singer revealed to Zane Lowe on Apple Music that she almost didn’t release it.
“There were moments, when I was writing these songs, and even when I was mixing them and stuff like that, where I was like, ‘Maybe I don’t need to put this album out.’ Like, maybe I should write another,” she said.
Well, we’re certainly glad she did and have a feeling it’s going to be on repeat for many.
Adele’s new album 30 is out now.
