Adele resale tickets skyrocket up to $15,000 per seat ahead of Vegas residency return

Adele's return to her Las Vegas residency has seen tickets skyrocket up to $15,000 per seat.

Following her record-breaking run, the award-winning singer extended her stint in Sin City, which kicks off on Friday night.

The sold-out shows are so in demand, people are flogging off the sought-after tickets for a staggering amount.

On re-sale website Seat Geek, the Mirror has seen tickets priced as high as $14,939 each.

Others are being sold for a whopping $12,449 and $11,619 per ticket.

Adele took to the stage on her final night to announce the news she was extending her residency and teased she will be bringing her show to those who are unable to travel to see her.

In a video shared on Twitter, the 34-year-old said: "Playing to 4,000 people for 34 nights is not enough and I know that, I know it's not enough.

"So I am coming back."

Fans began to scream in delight as she added: "I'll be back for a few weeks in June and I'm gonna film it and I'm going to release it to make sure that anyone who wants to see the show can.

"And then I'll be back from the summer, back in August, until the end of fall."

However, the superstar found herself at the forefront of controversy at the beginning of last year when she was forced to postpone her Las Vegas shows less than 24 hours before the first performance was set to kick off.

At the beginning 2022, Adele said it would be "impossible" to carry out the performances due to "delivery delays and Covid".

The Hello chart-topper admitted her shows would have been "half-arsed" if they had decided to go with the original plan.

After intense criticism, the run of concerts eventually kicked off over ten months later.

Adele told her audience on her final weekend in March: "I am sure you heard it got off to a very rocky start. A year and a half ago I had the audacity to stand up for myself and know something was not right for me. And it was crazy.

"I let a lot of people down, but had I let myself down I probably would have never seen you again.

"This has been a real highlight of my life for four months. So I am really glad you are here."
