Adele Postpones Las Vegas Residency Due To Ongoing Health Issues

Caesars Palace Las Vegas Hotel and Casino is seen on the Las Vegas Strip in Las Vegas

Adele has announced that she will be pausing her Las Vegas residency due to an undisclosed illness. The singer shared the news on social media, explaining that she had been battling sickness since the end of the last leg of her residency and had not fully recovered before shows resumed. As a result, her voice has been affected, and she has received doctor's orders to rest thoroughly until she heals.

The remaining five weekends of the current leg of her residency have been postponed to a later date, with specific dates in March affected. Adele expressed her love for her fans and apologized for any inconvenience caused by the postponement.

This is not the first time Adele's residency has faced challenges. Initially scheduled to begin in January 2022, the Weekends With Adele shows were postponed due to production delays and COVID-19-related issues within her team.

Adele has been open about her ongoing health struggles, joking with her audience about her voice being affected by fatigue and chest issues. She emphasized the importance of vocal rest to recover and expressed her difficulties in staying silent for an extended period.

Despite these setbacks, Adele remains committed to her Las Vegas residency. Rescheduled shows are set to begin in November 2022 and run through March 2023, with an additional leg planned for June to November 2023. In October 2023, she announced the addition of 32 more dates to the show, extending her stay in Sin City.

Fans can expect further updates on the rescheduled dates for Adele's Las Vegas residency as details are finalized. Adele's dedication to her health and well-being underscores her commitment to delivering exceptional performances for her audience.
