Adele says she plans to end her self-imposed drinking ban as she enjoys a break from her Las Vegas residency.
The Someone Like You singer, 35, revealed last month that she had been sober for over three months and confessed that she was "literally borderline alcoholic for quite a lot of my twenties".
Speaking on stage at The Colosseum Caesar Palace in Las Vegas ahead of her upcoming break from her Weekends With Adele gigs, she said she was looking forward to having a drink during her downtime.
She said: "I'm just going to chill. I'm annoyed as well that I'm sick because this is red wine weather,' she said.
"I stopped drinking, but obviously now I'm ready to start again because it is my break."
However, her favourite tipple of red wine is still off limits as it plays havoc with her vocal cords.
She explained: "I can't drink red wine ever when I'm singing because I don't know about you, but red wine f***s me up. I cannot handle it,' she explained, adding her drink of choice is now half sparkling water and half white wine with ice.
"A glass of red wine tips me over the edge. I have the worst hangover, my whole mouth and tongue turns red. I look like a disaster and it just gets rid of my voice."
Revealing she has been battling illness, the Tottenham-born superstar said she had an expensive bottle of Châteauneuf-du-Pape wine stored away but she will have to wait to "treat myself".
