Adele is said to be working on an "intimate documentary" that will explore her career and life, including how she deals with being one of the best-selling artists in the world.
The singer-songwriter, 34, has made headlines over the last year with her fourth album, the postponing of her Las Vegas residency and her relationship with Rich Paul, 40.
It's been reported such topics will be featured in a new documentary about the Grammy Award winner - which is said to offer a glimpse at Adele's life beyond the stage.
A source told The Sun : "One thing is for certain, it will be must-watch TV. [...] Even though everyone knows her name, Adele is still quite mysterious as a person."
"Adele feels she let fans down somewhat with how the past 12 months have panned out, particularly the last-minute postponement of her Las Vegas residency."
The source added the singer sees the documentary "as a way of making up for that" - with the postponing of the residency having sparked a backlash towards Adele.
The source, after commenting the performer is "quite mysterious as a person," added: "Her life now compared to when she released her debut album is unrecognisable."
Adele had postponed her Las Vegas residency at the last minute in January this year, with the Brit Award winner explaining at the time that the shows weren't ready.
The performer said recently that she "stands by that decision," though she said the reaction was "brutal" and that she was a "shell of a person" for a couple of months.

"I'm not going to just do a show because I have to or because people are going to be let down or because we are going to lose loads of money," she added about the situation.
The last year has seen her return to music with the release of her fourth studio album, 30 - which topped the charts in a number of countries including the UK, the US and Australia.
The award-winning project was her first album in six years and included the track Easy on Me - which proved a major success upon release as the lead single in October last year.
Adele has also attracted attention for her life away from the stage, including around her divorce from Simon Konecki, 48, and her current relationship with sports agent Rich.
The Mirror approached Adele's representatives for comment.
